Tourism Officials Try To Reintroduce Orlando

Tourism has defined this town since the moment Walt Disney World opened its doors in 1971.

But these days, fewer American families outside Florida think of Orlando as a "must-see" spot to take the kids, and fewer aspire to visit. To combat slowing visitor growth, tourism officials are launching their biggest marketing effort to date: a $25 million push that will put Orlando on national television for the first time, and -- they hope -- re-energize the city like Las Vegas' "What Happens Here Stays Here" campaign.




King City couple are heading to Golf Hall of Fame by train

Carmen and Neil Klenz of King City plan to visit the Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, Fla., but they don't want to miss seeing the rest of the country on the way. No blur at 30,000 feet for them.

EU regulators on Friday opened an antitrust probe of Universal Music Group's plans to buy BMG Music Publishing for about $2.1 billion, saying the deal could damage "the already concentrated music publishing market."
